CATS KNOW: They are picky eaters for good reason. They'll rub against your leg and purrrrrr while their food is prepared. After all that, when it's set down in front of them, they may take a whiff, turn tail and walk away. If they're going to absorb calories, they hold out for the good-smelling and tasty stuff. OUR LESSON: We're more apt to eat healthy if our food choices look and smell good. too. A sprinkle of Parmesan is sure to make even cauliflower go down easier, because the hint of cheese makes the bitter veggie smell and taste better.
